Duties

Serves as Digital Marketing Specialist within the Business and Support Services Division (MR), Headquarters Marine Corps. The incumbent shall be responsible for but not limited to the following duties: based on art direction provided, responsible for creating visual elements and content for marketing campaigns including email advertising, digital media, and social media platforms. Initiates, develops, and designs artistic concepts from customer input and translates it into marketable advertising media campaigns in direct support of the Marine Corps Exchange as well as other branches of the Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS). Develops and maximizes traffic to MCCS businesses and social media sites through direct marketing, and other online advertising and social networking opportunities. Creates, facilitates, and participates effectively and authentically in key conversations on social media channels.

Qualifications

Bachelor¿s degreefrom an accredited college or university in Graphic Art, Commercial Art or a related field appropriate to work of the position; OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above; OR three years of practical experience in an advertising environment that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Must have proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe Acrobat Pro) and CRM/Marketing campaign software such as ExacTarget. Proficiency in Microsoft business software is essential. Knowledge of and experience with content management systems. Experience in videography and video editing from raw and stock is highly desired.Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MR/MF policy.
