About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Office.
Duties
Provides administrative support of the management, and operational requirements for Outdoor Recreation. Gathers, compiles,
monitors, and maintains records pertaining to the Outdoor Recreation administrative activities (paper and electronic). Organizes
work schedules provided by supervisors, for meetings, briefings and personnel training and inputs them into the timekeeping
system. Provides oversight of the Time Management System "TMX" software. Performs a wide range of time-keeping duties to
include inputting schedules into the timekeeping system, running bi-weekly time and attendance reports, and providing manager
with time/labor reports as required. Also prepares daily financial reports to include labor costs, sales, supply expenses and other
financial information. Orders, maintains and stocks various ODR resale merchandise Receives, logs, and routes incoming mail,
maintains necessary suspense controls. Types correspondence, reports, and other materials from rough draft, clean or corrected
copy, including statistical and financial data. Composes correspondence from brief verbal or written instructions by the supervisor.
Proofreads and edits outgoing correspondence for correctness of format, spelling, grammar, addresses, enclosures, and
attachments, etc. Answers incoming telephone calls, makes tentative appointments for supervisor, and arranges staff meetings, as
required. Responsible for maintaining all official administrative files in accordance with Air Force regulations and guidance.
Performs other related duties as assigned. Reports directly to the Outdoor Recreation Director.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have responsible experience in clerical or office work which has provided knowledge of office automation software,
correspondence formats, grammar and spelling. Experience must have provided the ability to perform research, select and arrange
material, compose correspondence and maintain organized files. Knowledge of the Force Support Squadron organization and its
functions is desirable. Must have proficient typing skills. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Successful
completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries is required.
