Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. Duties

Responsible for planning, coordinating, administrating, and directing the function of the Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) Property Control Office. Provides technical assistance and expedites problem resolutions. Formulates, implements, and enforces existing/new policies, procedures, regulations, etc. Advises the Director of Logistics of deficiencies. Identifies and initiates action to dispose of excess or obsolete major components or subsystems. Develops, organizes, prepares, and conducts a viable and effective training program to ensure policies, procedures, and regulations are current and available to all assigned responsible officers. Prepares, conducts, reconciles, and reports the results of the Annual Base Property Wide Garrison Property Inventory.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field appropriate to the work of position AND three years of experience in contracting or purchasing experience with progressive assignments leading to broader technical knowledge, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Ability to analyze problems and to develop timely economical solutions. Must be able communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, procedures, techniques and methods of assigned specialization and functions. Ability to plan and organize. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.
