This National Guard position is for a SUPV HR SPEC (MILITARY), Position Description Number D2697000 and is part of the 107TH ATKW, National Guard.

Duties
As a SUPV HR SPEC (MILITARY), GS0201-12, you will serve as the supervisor over the Force Development, Commander's Support Staff, Sustainment Services Flight, Military Personnel Flight and Airman and Family Programs within the Force Support Squadron. May serve as the full-time representative of the Commander. This is an Air National Guard (ANG) Dual Status Technician position requiring military membership, compatible military skill assignment, and classification.

- This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.

- Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position within one year of appointment.

- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
- Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
- Work may potentially require the employee to be exposed to search and recovery operations in direct response to a military mishap or when providing support to Civil Authorities during an Incident Response as part of domestic operations.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:1-year specialized experience must be equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Knowledge or experience of an administrative nature, which involves the exercise of analytical ability, judgment, discretion, and personal responsibility, and application of a substantial body of knowledge of principles, concepts, and practices applicable to one or more fields of administration or management. Experience providing management oversight for activities assigned to the Operations section and all non-MPF activities of the Force Support Squadron and provides support to leadership regarding the resources and activities of the organization. Knowledge of functions of unit Training, Readiness, and Plans functions and supervision of Force Development, Services Sustainment, and Airman & Family Readiness positions.
