THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a TRAINING TECHNICIAN - TITLE 32, Position Description Number D2220000 and is part of the KY J3, National Guard.
***NOTE: Current on-board applicants (AREA 1, Title 32 employees) will retain current tenure and be temporarily promoted or reassigned, all others will be hired with indefinite tenure.***
Duties
As a TRAINING TECHNICIAN - TITLE 32, GS-1702-7, you will assist in establishing training plans and programs for the directorate. Provide unit training personnel with technical guidance and instructions on the implementation of established training plans and programs. Review training programs and makes recommendations to improve the quality of training and to ensure compliance with directives from higher headquarters. Assist with the Command Inspection Program and monitors unit performance levels. Conduct evaluations of training programs, assist with training inspections and analyze reported information. Research, compile, and maintain information concerning training courses and facilities. Obtain/maintain working knowledge of the Army Training Requirements and Resources Systems (ATRRS) and non-ATRRS schools and courses. Recommend breakdown of quota allocations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
Experiences that demonstrated the ability to follow directions, read, understand, and retain instructions, regulations, and procedures.on.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least 12 months experience which included administrative, clerical or support duties. Experience with maintaining records and establishing a filing system. Experience gathering data, preparing and submitting reports. Experience with military training and operations of the organization sufficient to assess the effectiveness of training activities in meeting mission essential tasks.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment.
