The purpose of this position is to serve as Supply Technician responsible for the Claremore Indian Hospital, Claremore, Oklahoma, within the Support Services Department. Under the supervision of the Supervisory Supply Management Officer (SSMO), the incumbent is responsible for completing assigned duties as directed by the Inventory Management Specialist. Duties include warehouse duties associated with purchasing, distribution, & inventory management, mail management, and property management.
Duties
Provide advanced technical and clerical support to the Support Services Supply section through providing supply management techniques to ensure availability of supplies.
Prepare credit card orders for non-stocked medical supplies, administrative supplies, and forms required by Claremore Indian Hospital through National Supply Service Center (NSSC) and Medical Supply Prime Vendors.
Responsible for overseeing & processing CIH Departmental Supply Issue Books, IHS-413 orders, and electronic pick lists for administrative and store stock items. Processing includes ordering, receiving, stocking, issuing, and distribution of store stock and direct issue supplies.
Incumbent functions as the official Claremore Indian Hospital designated Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) Accounts Receivable receiving agent. Responsible for preparing, signing, and the submission of receiving reports meeting the requirements of Public Law 97-177, Prompt Payment Act.
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
GS-07: Knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment; experience conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstructing records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, or parts; and experience performing routine aspects of supply work based on practical
knowledge of standard procedures.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
