You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the NETC Site East (Asset/Logistics Managment) of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION N6.

Duties

You will resolve problems, concerns, conflicts, or issues with the purchase or delivery of materials. You will prepare reports to inform management of supply inventory or supply orders. You will review supply planning data for future problem avoidance. You will use a database or spreadsheet software to enter, revise, sort, calculate, or retrieve data for supply reports. You will research a supply database to verify consistency, identify problems, and resolve issues.

• Requires the ability to see small print (inspecting equipment property tags) in confined, dimly lit areas, and the ability to discern document/file font and cell colors for the creation/updating/modification or tracking spreadsheets and workbooks.
• You will be required to attain operator licensing for both a 2.5/5-ton Stake Truck and Fork Truck.
• Call back and emergency overtime may be required of this position.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions for a department; 2) Providing supply operations support pertaining to specialized or unique supplies, equipment, and parts; 3) Utilizing databases or spreadsheet software to enter, revise, and/or retrieve supply and logistical data for reports; and 4) Providing assistance and guidance in the completion of command property transfer/shipping documents, additions and inter/intra-activity transfer actions in accordance with policies and procedures.
