About the Position: These positions are located at MacDill Air Force Base, FL.
Duties
Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions.
Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and deposition of required administrative reports and other correspondence.
Administers programs and serves as the primary source of information.
Acts as the point of contact for all newly assigned personnel.
Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.
Attends required training, meetings, and functions as related to the prescribed unit programs.
Serves as a unit liaison to the military and civilian personnel offices.
Requirements
- This position is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations. Applicants tentatively selected for this position will be required to sign a statement consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption
- All Health Care Providers must be able to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) training and certification that is sponsored or endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: Must demonstrate experience in auditing forms to ensure that forms are current and valid; maintaining and managing an executive staff calendar; interacting with civilian and military staff; utilizing a variety of automation systems to conduct tasks such as travel or time and attendance; and using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to create and develop reports and correspondences. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages.
