Be an Army Civilian - Go Army! Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. You will be part of managing and providing the information technology network and business systems that the U.S. Army need to operate every day. You will serve as an IT Specialist of the Enterprise Business Systems - Convergence (EBS-C) by providing Agile support services for authorized customers, both in and outside DoD, including government, non-government organizations, domestic and foreign.
Duties
Serves as the PM's Accountable Property Officer/Property Book Officer and maintains formal accountability of all PM-owned equipment.
Ensures the development, incorporation and maintenance of software tools that support, facilitate, and provide management, visibility, reporting status and leadership decision making capability.
Plans, coordinates, and supports all logistics operations functions of the organization.
Provides a logistics common operational picture (COP) on the status of PM-owned equipment and support infrastructure, e.g., personnel, facilities, support equipment and movement/transportation, worldwide.
Participates in Department of the Army (DA), Department of Defense (DoD) and other work groups, process review teams and compliance teams as needed.
Represents the enterprise at all venues requiring logistics operations and property management expertise.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
- A one-year probationary periods may be required.
- This position requires submission of a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.

Specialized Experience: In order to qualify for this position your resume must describe one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 or equivalent) grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Maintaining thorough, technical knowledge of the provisions and functional uses of the approved automated tools for property management and accountability; 2) Managing and maintaining the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP); AND 3) Employing the use of automated property and logistics information management systems for the management, control, visibility and reporting of all equipment.
