The duties include but are not limited the following bullets below: Designing, implementing, and maintaining a large scale IT Infrastructure that consists of over 5000 nodes and networking devices. Providing network services for the Clinical Research Information System (CRIS), and Altera Sunrise Clinical Management System (SCM) client-server environments. Researching, testing, and evaluating network requirements for projects and supporting Clinical Center healthcare initiatives. Deploying network security technologies to enhance information systems security. troubleshooting networking issues that impact client-server environments. coordinating with vendors and internal and external Department of Clinical Research Informatics customers to resolve network problems. Planning and implementing IT infrastructure upgrades, security upgrades, and policy changes. Responding to Clinical Center Customer Requests for changes affecting CC/DCRI network infrastructure.
