About the Position: Serves as a Senior Budget Analyst engaged in life-cycle program management of projects within the Operations Program.
Duties
Analyzes information gathered for the budget submission and assures all documents used in support of submission are in conformance with one another.
Reviews and ensures accuracy of project justifications, project data sheets, summary project schedules, project status maps and other budgetary documents.
Oversees and/or inputs data into the Civil Works Financial Management System (CEFMS), P2 Oracle Financial Analyzer (OFA), and Civil Works - Integrated Funding Database (CW-ID) for assigned programs or projects.
Performs quality control on accuracy and effectiveness of automated reports and assists Branch Chief in establishing data input priorities as required
Advises or assists lower grade analysts and/or assistants and maintains control over progress of work and reviews completed work for assigned program/phases.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This is a financial management level 2 certified position. Incumbent of this position must obtain the required certification within 6 months of entry into the position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Performing budget formulation or financial management work requiring intensive knowledge of finance policies; tracking labor requirements and expenditures for a Division or similar organization; and using financial management systems to analyze commitments, obligations and expenditures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
