Duties

DUTY 1: Serves as a multi-source Intelligence Specialist. Performs complex intelligence analysis with emphasis on Space Force and DoD programs/systems acquisition activities and leads teams/projects supporting MAJCOM, Space Force, and DoD acquisition processes and programs. DUTY 2: Provides Intelligence support to DoD/USSF Acquisition programs, systems, and processes. DUTY 3: Presents ISR capabilities to a variety of program office, service, national, and/or coalition customers. Applies knowledge of acquisition and IC, to include awareness of the variety of intelligence databases, collection management, requirements management, IC roles and responsibilities, online intelligence documentation, and new intelligence technology developments to assure program threat requirements are identified and recommends solutions for recognized gaps. DUTY 4: Serves as an Intelligence authority on specific ISR programs, systems, or issues. Serves as an expert for an intelligence function, process, program, or weapon system.

• Position is designated special-sensitive, incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Having the quality level of experience, which demonstrates knowledge of the intelligence cycle and intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and inter-relationships of the national Intelligence Community (IC); knowledge of acquisition policy and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a weapons system's life-cycle; Acquisition Intelligence analysis mission and strategy; and the roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of research laboratories, acquisition program offices, and life-cycle management, nuclear, sustainment, and system testing enterprises; and knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research methods, techniques, and practices and advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods used to identify and analyze complex multi-source intelligence information to produce detailed intelligence capabilities and threat assessments, identify intelligence deficiencies, and advocate for customer requirements. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and inter-relationships of the national IC, DoD, and USSF. 2. Knowledge of acquisition policy and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a weapon system's life-cycle; Acquisition Intelligence analysis mission and strategy; and the roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of USSF research laboratories, acquisition program offices, and life-cycle management, nuclear, sustainment, and system testing enterprises. 3. Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research methods, techniques, and practices and advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods used to identify and analyze complex multi-source intelligence information to produce detailed intelligence capabilities and threat assessments, identify intelligence deficiencies, and advocate for customer requirements. 4. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing intelligence requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients. 5. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes. 6. Ability to quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and competing resources, based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
