About the Position: You will provide a variety of technical supply support to a district or laboratory as a member of a USACE Logistics Delivery Point team. Provides assistance for all areas of supply management as required to all customer elements, which may include a USACE division headquarters.
Duties
Determines stock levels needed for non-recurring, specialized items based on usage, inventory, project demands, seasonal demands, changing customer needs.
Conducts physical inventories of a broad range of diverse, specialized items, some of which are difficult to identify.
Prepares recurring and special reports and compiles statistics from data.
Prepares and enters receipts into computer system.
Reviews record adjustments for accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license so he/she can occasionally drive a vehicle to a service station or repair facility.
- Must obtain and maintain a fork lift operator's license to operate a forklift for loading and transporting equipment and supplies.
- Subject to pre-employment and annual medical examination for fitness for duty.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience with property accounting, researching data and reports and fact-finding, and/or ensuring supply support for production. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
