Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   One years¿ experience that demonstrates ability to organize, plan, administer and conduct recreation/leisure activities. A combination of education in a related field and experience may be substituted for the above qualification.Knowledge of military protocol is preferred.  Knowledge of Marines Corps Community Services is preferred. Ability to coordinate a large volunteer program with command, community, and civic leaders. Ability to solve problems that arise from managing large, diverse groups of people. Ability to market the program and motivate eligible patrons. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Must possess or be able to obtain Certificated Program Planners certification or Certified Parks and Recreation Professional Certification within one year of employment. Must be able to obtain ServSafe Food Manager Certification and CPR within 180 days of employment.Must have a valid drivers¿ license. Night and weekend work as well as occasional travel is required.
