About the Position: Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist in the HQDA Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G4 G4-3/5/7 Operations Directorate Strategic Mobility Division (304) located at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.

Duties

Serves as the Directorate desk officer in the Logistics Operations Center during contingency and/or training exercises as needed. Develops plans, financial programs, policies, doctrine, procedures, and decision authority recommendations for execution of the worldwide Army Prepositioned Stocks program. Performs independently or as a task leader for functions assigned. Plans, organizes and executes site visits to various Army Commands other DoD activities as directed. Coordinates and executes enterprise-wide planning tasks to solve problems or lead change in the Army Prepositioned Stocks program.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Business travel may be required up to 15% of the time
• Position has been designated as Special-Sensitive, requiring a Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Access (SCI).
• Assigned personnel must pass drug screening prior to hiring and will be subject to periodic and random drug testing, thereafter, in accordance with AR 600-85 and Department of Defense Directive 2010.9
