You will serve as an INVESTIGATIVE ASSISTNAT (OA) in the NAVAL AIR TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTER.
Duties
You will investigate all violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).
You will review, track, process and complete reports filed by local law enforcement.
You will prepare and process waiver of rights, voluntary statements, search and seizure affidavits, medical release documents, lab request letters, permissive search authorizations, and any documents required to complete an investigation.
You will schedule interviews for military members and local law enforcement agencies to include process servers.
You will conduct training, as required, for Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC) personnel in regard to guidelines associated with various after-hour violations of the UCMJ.
You will provide on-the-job training to personnel assigned to Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC) when assigned to conduct a command investigation.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Be familiar with the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) and local criminal codes; 2) Be able to effectively communicate and interview witnesses and suspects; 3) Prepare and process waiver of rights, voluntary statements, search and seizure affidavits, medical release documents, lab request letters, and permissive search authorizations; and 4) Document collected findings and evidence into a report suitable for legal action.
