About the Position: Serve as an Office Engineer for the Area/Resident Office or Contract Administration Branch/Construction Division performing and/or monitoring the performance of the full range of "office" engineering functions.
Duties
You will serve as a Construction Control Representative for the Area/Resident Office performing and/or monitoring the performance of the full
range of contract administration functions.
Reviews contractor proposals to ensure completeness and appropriateness. Prepare government cost estimates and compares against
contractor proposals.
Develops construction methods and quality control techniques for projects that involve specialized facilities with special purpose technical
equipment installation and structural features.

Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes reviewing, negotiating, and advising COR and/or ACOs on the completeness and appropriateness of contractor's proposals, modifications, and negotiated contracts involving specialized facilities, equipment, and unique features.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
