This position is located in the Material Management Department at the Lawton Indian Hospital. The position is responsible for the receiving, stocking, issuing, and distribution of store stock and direct issue supplies. This position reports to the Director, Material Management (Supply Management Officer).

Duties

Control daily processing of e-orders and prime vendor production outcomes. Develop, review and analyze reports. Plan and determine current and future supply requirements to meet hospital needs. Receive requisitions, select and deliver orders, secure signatures and assemble requisitions for posting. Participate in the coordination of supply requirements with users.

To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): Applicants must meet the following typing proficiency:40 words per minute based on a five minute sample with three or fewer errors. In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: GS-5: One year of specialized work experience ordering and receiving supplies in a warehouse setting; reconciling transactions and compiling, reviewing, maintaining data from contracts, purchase orders and/or requisitions. OR Four (4) years of education above high school. OR A Combination of Education and Experience: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements. Time In GradeFederal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
