Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security; within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol.
Duties
As Executive Director, Mission Support, in the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP), you will oversee the leadership, planning, development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of administrative programs and activities in the USBP. You will oversee programs related to Agent Support, Facilities, Finance, Procurement, Property Management, Recruitment, Resiliency Training, and Workforce Management.
You will be responsible for leading the development of comprehensive human resources management processes and procedures for a multi-functional, multi-talented workforce. You will oversee the development and execution of the USBP budget and oversee comprehensive financial management practices for resource allocations.
You will promote resiliency and esprit de corps through employee support programs, manage national level Agent pre-employment and recruitment, and integrate strategic planning and programming with operational support to produce and sustain facilities that effectively support mission needs and priorities.
