About the Position: Performs administrative and professional work requiring the application of accounting, budgeting and manpower principles, theories, concepts, and practices to ensure that financial management, manpower, and accounting systems produce accurate results and meet legal and regulatory requirements.
Duties
Develop and Implement data analytics tools for a project funded organization.
Apply data analytics to improve the organization’s business and financial performance.
Conducts research and analysis assisting organizational elements to streamline data reporting and mission execution.
Mentor technical professionals within the organization in data analytics implementation and development.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The duties of this position require Travel up to approximately 10% of the time.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver’s License.
- Certification Level 2: THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position.
- Designated as such in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 United States Code, section 1599d.
- Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program. This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position.
- Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in federal service to includes: 1) Utilize data analytics systems and software to exhibit data. 2) Perform analytical analysis/execution in the areas of Manpower, Finance & Accounting, Auditing, Budgeting, Systems Accounting, Organizational Effectiveness, and Management Analysis. 3) Serve as technical expert for understanding, developing, and implementing highly complex, new, and evolving data analytics tools and processes.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
