This position is in the Office of the Administrator, Office of Policy, Office of Climate Adaptation and Sustainability, Climate and Sustainable Strategies Division. About AO.
This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.*Work-from-home flexibilities may be authorized as described in the Benefits section.

Qualifications
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as administering or evaluating programs related to climate change or sustainability; coaching, mentoring or leading others; and monitoring or assessing the performance and progress of a team.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of the impact of climate change and environmental sustainability strategies on the natural and built environment.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions of subordinate organizational units.
Skill in oral communication.
Ability to mentor, motivate, and appraise staff.
Skill in written communication.
Ability to advise on financial management activities.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
