You will serve as an Administrative Technical Specialist in the Modernization & Installation Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high-grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $156,323.00).
Duties
You will serve as the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Materiel Support Team Lead, identified as the primary materiel support contact for the Aegis Foreign Military Sales (FMS) materiel support efforts.
You will manage requirements and serve as the coordinator for project management, financial, logistical and training pertaining to Aegis Foreign Military Sales (FMS) materiel support.
You will research and respond to material requests for source of supply.
You will provide input to all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) checklists and certifications.
You will provide final determination on all material disposition to include Defense Reutilization Marketing Office (DRMO).
You will oversee NSWC PHD updates as needed for FMS documents (i.e. Lifetime Support Master Plans based off performance of support efforts compared to needs of the FMS customer).
You will consider and coordinate with all logistics elements to ensure system maintenance requirements are documented and completed for life cycle logistics support.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You will be required to perform occasional sea duty.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector researching, coordinating, and managing materiel inquiries pertaining to Aegis Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to ensure timely logistics and support of customer program milestones for U.S. Navy or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
