Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
As a Management Information Specialist, you will:
Provide SharePoint administration and site support for all OGC lines of business, including E-Discovery, Clearance Calendar, Biweekly Report and Multifamily Document Reform Implementation.
Work closely with attorneys in Personnel Law to support cases by providing backup E-Discovery program support, including reviewing and exporting highly confidential litigation data, including cases related to labor relations and personnel
Serve as a LawManager system Administrator with access to highly confidential data, including cases related to labor relations and personnel.
Perform in depth analysis of the existing systems, both manual and automated, and develop solutions to unspecified system requirements and or capabilities.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Experience working with electronic discovery litigation tools or software and providing technical assistance to attorneys or paralegals on e-discovery such as data collections, keyword searches, tagging, or data exports; AND
Providing technical advice and guidance to end users on office productivity software and applications (i.e., Word, Excel, SharePoint); AND
Conducting analysis of systems to assist in determining the nature of system requirements and whether or not new systems or enhancements should be developed.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Experience working with electronic discovery litigation tools or software; AND
Providing technical advice and guidance to end users on office productivity software and applications (i.e., Word, Excel, SharePoint); AND
Conducting analysis of systems to assist in determining the nature of system requirements and whether or not new systems or enhancements should be developed.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
