About the Position: Works under the direct supervision of the Real Estate manager and is assigned to Omaha District, US Army Corps of Engineers, Real Estate Division.
Duties
Use basic real estate principles and practices to assist Realty Specialists in the accomplishment of real estate program management.
Provide office administration support to compile information for the preparation of real estate documents.
Draft and complete routine disposal of property assignments and/or transactions.
Compose routine correspondence from brief notes, oral instructions or on the basis of precedents.
Produce a variety of narrative and tabular material in final copy.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 5% of the time.

Specialized Experience for GS-7: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Experience using electronic data systems to input and update contract information, monetary collection, or property records AND 2) Experience using word processing systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel, to produce documents, forms, spreadsheets, reports, or professional correspondence. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-05.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
