DON Pathways Internship Program
You will serve as a STUDENT TRAINEE (PUBLIC AFFAIRS) in the NAVSUP Public Affairs Office, Office of Corporate Communications of NAVAL SUPPLY SYSTEMS COMMAND.

Duties
You will assist in the planning and execution of internal and external communications and NAVSUP-sponsored and NAVSUP-supported events..
You will research and organize a variety of information for internal and external audiences, including stakeholders, constituents, and the public.
You will assist with researching, writing, rewriting, proofreading, and editing feature stories, news releases, web content, social media content, statements, flashes, talking points, questions-and-answers, and other informational materials.
You will assist in archiving historical files.
You will provide administrative support by using email to disseminate information.
You will assist with management of websites and social media properties.
You will conduct interviews in support of content creation.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
This position may be non-competitively converted to a GS-1099-06 career ladder position after meeting all regulatory requirements (including qualification requirements), and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.
