Duties

As a Deputy Management Officer you will: Serves as the Deputy Management Officer, who supports the Management Officer (MO), GHC. Make policy and managerial decisions as required; shares with the MO in planning, directing, managing, and evaluating GHC activities. Prepare annual budget and staffing plans and manages the approved plans throughout the year. Serve as the principal liaison for GHC/OD on all management issues and policies related to the conduct of administrative programs, staffing and budget administration. Serve as project officer or contracting officer representative, or designates the responsibilities associated with these instruments.

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, which must include the following experience: experience leading business operations (administrative management, human capital, talent development, logistics), guiding process improvement, and reporting outputs and outcomes. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education

Copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience. An official transcript will be required if you are selected.
