Major Duties:
This position serves as the Deputy Director, Division of Management and Administrative Programs (DMAP). The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the management of all administrative and management support services for Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) programs.
You will be responsible for the technical and administrative supervision of a complex staff in professional, technical, clerical, and administrative work to carry out the mission of the organization.
You will lead and/or participate with DMAP and other OFCCP managers in developing plans for the implementation of new or modified administrative and management programs or projects.
You will develop, implement, and evaluate productivity measurement systems, and other data collection or tracking systems to assist OFCCP management in allocating andreallocating staff resources, analyzing operations, and identifying corrective actions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
You will be responsible for long-term programming and annual budgeting submissions and ensures program accomplishments are within budget allocations and make recommendations for budget adjustments.
You will plan and independently conduct various confidential and non-confidential highly sensitive studies, either routine or ad hoc special non-recurring assignments, for the DMAP Director, OFCCP leadership, and/or DOL personnel.
You will prepare or coordinates the preparation of briefings, program documents, proposals, reports, and memoranda for the DMAP Director on administrative and management program matters with overlapping organizational responsibilities or that do not fall within the functional province of any one DMAP component.
OFCCP enforces E.O. 11246, as amended; Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and 38 U.S.C. 4212 of the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, as amended. Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Candidate required to obtain the necessary security/investigation level.
- Requires a probationary period if the requirement has not been met.
- You will be required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450.
- You will be required to serve a one-year supervisory probationary period if the requirement has not been met.
- Appointment to this position may require a background investigation.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

GS-15: Applicants must possess at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal Service. Qualifying specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience include:
Providing day-to-day administrative direction to staff that includes establishing priorities and allocating and shifting resources to meet the office needs;
Developing and presenting recommendations based on analysis and evaluation of administrative and management programs / functions;
Directing the analysis of system or management improvement studies or policy and procedure updates; and
Leading change management through streamlining and process improvements.
