This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services, (CMCS), Medicaid Benefits and Health Program Group (MBHPG).
As a Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-14, you will serve as a technical authority for analyses and special studies of policy issues and topics related to Medicaid Covered Outpatient Drug and/or other areas for which the division is responsible.
Duties
Serve as a technical authority and advisor for the division in the development of Medicaid Drug Program product.
Serve as a technical authority for analyses and special studies of issues and topics related to Medicaid Covered Outpatient Drug and/or other areas for which the division is responsible.
Lead projects or studies that analyze the efficiency, effectiveness and/or outcomes of the Medicaid Covered Outpatient Drug benefit.
Represent CMCS officials in discussions with state government officials, professional groups, providers, researchers, consumers, advocacy groups, other Federal agencies, and stakeholders on assigned subject matters.
Prepare a variety of written products, including briefing documents, contractor performance evaluations, reports, and issue papers.
