You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER for the NAVAL SCHOOL OF MUSIC (NAVSOM).
Duties
You will serve as the command’s subject matter expert in all administrative matters and processes.
You will direct, coordinate, and monitor administrative functions for daily and long-range planning necessary to provide responsive support
to the command outside activities and agencies supported.
You will maintain a records management program in accordance with the DON Records Management Program.
You will lead an aligned, engaged, and high performing team, identifying current and future position requirements to ensure recruitment is appropriately focused to attract a higher-caliber workforce.
You will plan and administer a comprehensive and effective public affairs, command information, and community relations
programs for the command.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing and facilitating the execution of administrative services, administrative analysis, periodic reporting, and manpower oversight.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
or
a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
