You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Naval Air Warfare Center, Training Systems Division of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
Duties
You will be responsible for acquisition and life cycle sustainment management in support of security cooperation and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs managed by the International Program Directorate (PDI).
You will serve as the primary integrated logistics point of contact within the project IPT, international program customers, and training support agencies in matters related to assigned projects logistics support requirements.
You will prepare and present briefings on logistics program status.
You will provide expertise during the development of procurement planning, development of Letters of Offer and Acceptance, Pricing and Availability data, lease agreements, and during customer Letter Of Request consultations and discussions.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Providing technical expertise in training systems acquisition; 2) Applying Foreign Military Sales (FMS) regulations, policies, and procedural requirements for program logistics support; 3) Utilizing integrated logistics support requirements, products, and processes specific to training systems acquisition in support of Foreign Military Sales and International programs.
