The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC) serves as the Army's technology leader for armament systems. DEVCOM AC ensures dominance of Army capabilities by researching, developing, integrating and delivering technology-enabled armament solutions to our Warfighters. Armaments Center has a long tradition as the primary research and development center for new and existing armament systems which are in use by U.S. service members around the world.
Duties
Advise command leadership on all matters pertaining to security and Foreign Disclosure.
Serves as a Security Specialist with multiple assigned responsibilities for personnel security, information security, and foreign disclosure.
Provide input on operating standards concerning Foreign Disclosure, information, personnel, and industrial security issues to the Command to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
- Three-year probationary period may be required.
- The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.

Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties:
1) Serves as a Security Specialist with multiple assigned responsibilities for managing personnel security, information security, and foreign disclosure programs. 2)Advise, recommend, plan, develop and issue guidance to personnel regarding the handling and safeguarding of classified material to prevent unauthorized disclosure. 3) Conduct briefings, orientations, security inspections and other security awareness efforts related to the access of classified and sensitive material. 4) Determines and implements specific command guidance and actions to correct security deficiencies, overcome vague or competing requirements and promote the growth of sound security procedures. 5) Coordinates specific disclosure actions to foreign governments and international organizations in support of approved U.S. Army international programs.
