You will serve as a Facility Services Assistant (DISPATCH) in the Production Division of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will maintain schedules for maintenance and repair of physical facilities.
You will determine the lead skill set required to perform the work and ensure appropriate and accurate input of job order number, work center, labor/craft code, failure class, and problem code.
You will dispatch service calls and emergency response teams.
You will manage the work queues of facilities maintenance employees.
You will review approved work orders to be assigned.
You will input start and stop times and current status.
You will support the organization to which assigned by performing various clerical assignments, as directed.
You will utilize advanced and varied functions of software suites to include computerized asset management systems, electronic mail, spreadsheets, electronic calendars, and database management.
Requirements

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Maintaining schedules for maintenance and repair of physical facilities; 2) Dispatching short and long range maintenance, repair, and minor construction; 3) Receiving, creating, and approving customer service requests; 4) Managing, tracking, and adjusting work order data through computerized management systems; 5) Evaluating and dispatching work orders by classification (routine, urgent or emergency).
