You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Material Management Department, Naval District Washington of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK at Joint Base Andrews, Naval Air Facility.
Duties
You will receive and evaluate customer requirements, provide recommendations, and direct actions to satisfy customer inquiries.
You will serve as the liaison for material transportation requirements.
You will make recommendations to supervisors based on incoming requisition status.
You will maintain and annotate files for easy and timely retrieval/location of material.
You will update material records and inventory data using the Navy-Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) system to review stock records, transactions, and reports.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a supply technician applying a thorough knowledge of supply programs and services, work operations, work sequences and schedules in order to advise customers on the flow of materials and services. I have experience processing requisitions, managing inventory data using an automated supply system, and researching and resolving frustrated transactions, stock discrepancies and inventory accuracy problems. I also have knowledge of warehouse methods and procedures that impact physical inventory and location surveys. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Perform general supply functions such as receiving and inspection, quality deficiency reporting, and processing requisitions for consumable stock material submitted by customers; 2) Manage inventory data by reviewing stock records, transactions and reports; 3) Participate in the technical screening and inventory control transactions and problems; and 4) Assist with the resolution of problems such as missing items or data, suspicious transactions, or record data differences.
