Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist within the FAA, Technical Operations, Logistics Program within the Cleveland District.
Duties
Performs a combination of routine and multiple and varying assignments under the general direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Interviews will be conducted IAW FAA Policy and/or applicable Bargaining Unit Agreement
Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the FV-G, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level/grade of FV-F, FG/GS-5-9. (Refer to OPM's Operating Manual Qualification Standards at http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/SEC-IV/A/gs-admin.asp, for more information) in the Federal Service.Specialized experience includes in-depth knowledge of requirements, operations and applications related to property, real and personal, to assure appropriate tracking and asset accountability is maintained; Assists field personnel with the automated purchasing system transactions and processes; Makes corrections and generates procurement requests and purchase orders; Experience with automated purchasing system; Reviews and provides guidance on contracts and non-technical specifications.Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
Education
EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
