Duties
Maintains operations and provides oversight of the Aviation Logistics Operations Center, and serves as the liaison for the purpose of the Command Team.
Manages current and future logistics operations and provides oversight of the Aviation Logistics Operations Center personnel during normal through emergency conditions.
Ensures proper handling and storage of classified material and security procedures for national security, operational security, and facility inspections.
Consolidates, coordinates, and prepares documents and resources for multiple routine and critical briefings for the DLA Aviation Commander and leadership with DLA HQ as well as Joint and Military Service Commands.
Develops plans, procedures, and policies as well as evaluation and refinement of current emergency preparedness/contingency plans and operations and assists in Continuity of Operations (COOP) activities and requirements.
Researches and investigates new and improved business and management practices to ensure mission accomplishment.
Represents the division when chairing, conducting or participating in meetings, briefings or conferences for the development or revision of operational concepts.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Program Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Performing business requirements and Logistic program analysis to measure program accomplishments.
Researching and investigating new or improved business and management practices to support mission activities.
Monitoring and evaluating processes and procedures to ensure all controls and regulatory requirements are accomplished.
Developing emergency and operational contingency management plans and procedures.
Advising and providing counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
