This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Superintendent, House Office Buildings, Assistant Superintendent, Facilities Operations Division, Elevator Branch. The incumbent is an Elevator Mechanic (Electronics) and performs a variety of electronic functions in connection with the inspection, maintenance and repair of elevators, lifts, escalators and various industrial equipment in the House Office Buildings.  

Duties

This position is to fill day shift under 5am -1:30pm but may also be used to fill evening shift 1pm -9:30pm or night shift from Sunday to Thursday 9:30pm to 6am.

WG-12: Possesses in-depth knowledge of the mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic philosophies related to the work performed.
