About the Position: Naval Air Station Fallon is a remote duty station with 14 tenant commands that provides support to Naval Aviation Warfare Development Center (NAWDC), a major stakeholder in the current area of operations (AOR). Naval Branch Health Clinic (NBHC) Fallon / Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Unit Fallon (NMRTU), is a tenant command and branch clinic of Naval Health Clinic Lemoore/ Navy Medicine and Readiness Training Command Lemoore.
Duties
Maintain an accurate Accountability roster for all staff (AD/GS/CN) assigned to NMRTU.
Assist Admin in ensuring the Daily Muster report is submitted accurately and on time.
Provide clerical support by assuring format / templates for awards, worksheets, fitness reports and evaluations.
Coordinate lodging to support all CO visits and VIP visiting parties.
Verify all staff have an accurate and complete profile in DTS when checking into the command.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
- Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing clerical support services to include providing clerical support services such as answering telephones, screening visitors, scheduling, filing, drafting/reviewing correspondence and other documentation, using office automation tools.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business or Healthcare Administration.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages.Education must have been obtained from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.

This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
