THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the UNIT DEPLOYMENT MANAGER, GS-0301-9, is to perform preliminary analysis of long term forecasting of readiness and budgets.

Qualifications

UNIT DEPLOYMENT MANAGER, GS-0301-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Experience planning, organizing, and overseeing all unit level deployment activities; Experience reviewing all deployment related documents for applicable equipment and personnel taskings and identifying the units total deployment requirements; Experience maintaining recall roster and Deployment Readiness Checklist, documents readiness status, mobility status report, mobility training and records, personnel readiness training, and maintaining Air Force Deployment Folders (AFDFs)/mobility folders.
