About the Position: This is a Management Assistant, GS-0344-07 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division (SWD), Fort Worth District, Resource Management Office and will be located in Fort Worth, TX. The position is full-time and permanent.

Duties

Serves as management assistant to the Resource Management Office. This position requires extensive knowledge of the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS), numerous software uses and applications, and general administrative support activities for the Resource Management Office (RMO). Assists Budget Analysts and the Cooperative Administrative Services Unit (CASU) manager during peak workload cycles. Provides Budget Analysts support assistance during operating budget formulation. Prepare graphic slides for the monthly Review and Analysis. Prepares spreadsheets and assembles information for Working and Executive Program Budget Advisory Committee meetings. Maintains RMO liaison with the Civilian Personnel Office, originates and prepares Requests for Personnel Action for the RMO. Serves as the RMO Training Coordinator. Performs assigned time and attendance duties for the Chief RMO, Budget, CASU, and Management Analysis Branch. Composes correspondence, formulates in final format a variety of narrative and tabular material.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) utilizing an automated financial management system to input or retrieve cost/budgetary data; OR 2) generating financial reports, graphs, or documents. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
