Duties
You will assign tasks and priorities for employees to accomplish facilities maintenance and asset management and planning for a large Navy installation.
You will represent an organization in meetings to provide and exchange information related to facilities maintenance, repair, construction, planning and programming.
You will prepare written reports and give oral presentations to senior leadership and multiple departments and organizations.
You will lead the execution of facility condition assessments and development of maintenance execution plans for long range sustainment of facilities and structures
You will lead, supervise, and manage multiple employees to accomplish facilities maintenance and repair and project planning
You will administer service contracts and manage special projects by developing cost estimates.
You will determine facility requirements to develop and repair buildings, structures, utilities, or grounds.
You will administer facility maintenance programs, service contracts, and logistics programs for an organization.
You will conduct surveys or studies to contribute to the creation or improvement of preventive maintenance programs.

- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:1) Executes Public Works efforts in support to the customer's mission and functions of the Site; 2) Directs, controls, and coordinates assigned operations within PWD by the utilization of a broad knowledge of facilities management, technical and administrative skills; and 3) Oversees the costs, personnel and quality of work in addition to work progression, sequencing of operations, personnel selection and training, job establishment, shop moves, and location of equipment and all other functions which affect the timeliness of work schedules.
