This position is part of the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Energy in the Office of Inspector General - Office of Cyber Assessments and Data Analytics. As a Inspector, you will support inspection operations at various field sites under the CADA Project Lead, CADA Team Leader, CADA Director, the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for CADA, and the Assistant Inspector General for CADA.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for the GS-11 Grade Level is defined as: one year of specialized experience at the GS-09 grade level of federal service or equivalent conducting inspections or evaluations of moderate difficulty and complexity of programs, management systems, and activities. Specialized experience must reflect all the following: 1) Review and evaluate the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the performance by conducting inspections or evaluations of programs, organizations, management systems, and activities. 2) Perform simple analysis of information to determine compliance with criteria. 3) Assist the project leader in identifying potential findings and their root cause with recommendations to appropriate officials. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR LL.M., if related. Specialized experience for the GS-12 Grade Level is defined as: one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level of federal service or equivalent conducting inspections or evaluations of moderate difficulty and complexity of programs, management systems, and activities. Specialized experience must reflect all the following: 1) Review and evaluate the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the performance by conducting inspections or evaluations of programs, management systems, and activities. 2) Implement appropriate techniques in gathering, documenting, analyzing, and summarizing inspection or evaluation evidence that is sufficient and appropriate for the; and inspection or evaluation objective. 3) Assist the project leader in identifying potential findings and their root cause with recommendations to appropriate officials. Education

Accreditation: Only education from an accredited college or university recognized by the Department of Education is acceptable to meet education requirements or to substitute for experience, if applicable. Foreign Education: To receive credit for education completed outside the United States, you must show proof that the education has been submitted to a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and such education has been deemed at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs.
