Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school or trade school graduate as an electrician. Construction trades helpful.Two - three years electrical work done at the journeyman level, plus one year experience in related building trades. Must possess a Universal Technician certification issued by an approved certification program. Must have knowledge of the operation and installation of a variety of complete electrical systems and equipment. Must be able to read, interpret and work from blueprints or sketches and be knowledgeable of basic shop mathematics. Must possess a valid Virginia state driver's license and be capable of obtaining a government vehicle operator's license. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the qualifications above.
