About the position: This position will be assigned to the Auto Hobby Shop, Beale AFB, CA.
This is a flexible position; not guaranteed hours, but may work 0-40 hours a week.
Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Duties
Responsible for managing equipment, tools, and repair stall reservations, including providing guidance on proper usage, recommending necessary tools for repair, and instructing customers on cleaning protocols. Ensures cleanliness of repair and pit areas, assesses tools for damage, and charges customers for any necessary tool usage. Handles cash register transactions and may operate a motor vehicle. Additional responsibilities include addressing customer inquiries and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This position has physical lifting requirement which requires the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a drug test with favorable results.
- This position requires the incumbent to have a valid driver's license.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of a wide variety of automotive tools and parts. Cash handling experience is a requirement for this position. Must have experience working with patrons providing quality customer service.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
