A successful candidate in this position will serve as Program Manager(Director for The Lithium Modernization Program). The incumbent is responsible for integration and execution of program, budget, cost, funding, and contractual activities to ensure material requirements are met in support of Defense Programs' program of record.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., NQ-03, or GS-13. Specialized experience for this position is defined as conducting at least 3 of the following activities:
1. Manages and evaluates policies and program objectives programs to include developing strategic planning, programmatic alignments, budget justifications and long range budget estimates for nuclear stockpile programs.
2. Prioritizes investments, aligns resources with mission requirements, and integrates elements of infrastructure modernization and capability sustainment.
3. Coordinates weapons deliverables and major capital construction projects to deploy capabilities in time to meet the department's needs.
4. Communicates and defends complex technical topics and programs to senior government officials.

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
