This position is located in the Administrative Programs Branch of the Central Federal Lands Highway Division.
The incumbent manages directly or through subordinates, a supply store, the equipment program, property utilization and disposal program, the deployment, maintenance and repair program for trailers and the GSA Fleet program.

Qualifications

For the GS-12: You must have at least one year of specialized experience, equal or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level, which included:
Experience managing an inventory of complex technical special purpose equipment which may involve researching and screening surplus property declarations to provide sources of supply for inventory and special equipment items; AND
Experience preparing budget projections and monitoring expenditures to ensure they do not exceed approved fund allotments.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Manages Resources - Selects, acquires, stores, and distributes resources such as materials, equipment, or money -- Knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques, and methods to include requisitioning, requirements, equipment management, inspection activities, demand processing, records maintenance, and customer service.
Budget Administration - Knowledge of the principles and practices of budget administration and analysis; including preparing, justifying, reporting on, and executing the budget; and the relationships among program, budget, accounting, and reporting systems.
Administration and Management - Knowledge of planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resource allocation, and production -- Ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve issues and/or deviate from normal supply management procedures or program requirements.
Customer Service - Anticipates and meets the needs of both internal and external customers. Delivers high-quality products and services; is committed to continuous improvement -- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
