Duties
Communicates to the team the assignments, projects, problems to be solved, milestones, program issues under review, and deadlines for completion.
Trains or arranges for training of team members on specific administrative or technical skills necessary for accomplishment of individual and/or team tasks.
Communicates team consensus and recommendations to supervisor on actions affecting team/individual awards, rewards, and recognition.
Intercedes with supervisor on behalf of team on issues such as assignments, reassignments, promotions, tour of duty changes, peer reviews and performance appraisals.
Provides official and unofficial reports to supervisor regarding team accomplishments, progress on major work initiatives, and notable training deficiencies.
Resolves simple complaints from customers.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-04) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: performing duties that support operating a variety of electronic document management equipment and basic office automation equipment to include document scanners, copy machines, facsimile machines, and personal computers in performance of document capturing functions.
Time-in-Grade: GS-03 position or higher in the preceding 52 weeks on a permanent competitive appointment may be considered.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
Education
GS-05 Substitution of Education for Experience: Four years of successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation, or the equivalent, is a prerequisite may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
