Duties

You will perform maintenance and repairs on all boiler instruments, meters, controls and electrostatic precipitators. You will test instruments, to determine if parts are inoperative or defective. You will perform maintenance and repair to overhaul, rebuild, modify, and complete final alignment to test and troubleshoot electronic computer systems and subsystems. You will monitor operation of computer and its subsystems for operating trends and initiates preventive maintenance as required. You will check and maintain high voltage lines, switches, insulators, transformers, high voltage DC rectifiers, associated with collecting plates, discharge electrodes, plate suspension. You will follow electronic trade safety practices and guidelines in completing assignments. You will adapt electronic instruction materials or prepare specifications and sketches to meet special use or limited parts availability needs or equipment modifications. You will perform research on new parts for work in progress using technical manuals, blueprints, or drawings.
