About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command, Fort Eisenhower, GA.
Duties
Serve as the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), Liaison Officer to the U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER).
Coordinate with the U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) on U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) operations, capabilities, and support.
Deliver supporting services to Army's portion of the Department of Defense Information Systems (DoDIN-A).
Execute complex projects and studies involving U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
Preform the full range of liaison work to include controlling, analyzing, researching, and formulating official responses to written and telephonic requests from high-ranking staff.
Develop itineraries for official visitors to U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER).
Participate in exercises and crisis action planning.
Prepare meetings and briefings for high-ranking staff.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Incumbent must be willing and able to take and successfully pass a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CI/Poly).
- Must pass an initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential".
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25%% of the time.

Specialized experience would be demonstrated by providing senior technical advisory on enterprise and network services to key leaders, senior military officers, and staff, to deliver support and services to the Department of Defense Information Systems (DoDIN-A); integrating operational enterprise information systems support capabilities through multiple agencies such as the Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) and U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM); operating information technology planning in a political and military environment; and responding expeditiously to enterprise and network services crisis or challenges.
