You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Radiological Control Office, Code 105, Administrative Office, Code 105.1 of PSNS and IMF.
SALARY RANGE:
For the GS-07: $54,896 - $71,366
For the GS-09: $67,147 - $87,291
Duties
You will work independently to conduct comprehensive examinations/reviews of pay accounts for Civilians and Vendors.
You will analyze financial transaction processing to determine validity of financial accounting and management reports.
You will provide information about, and interpret standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations.
You will use a financial management system to create, edit, and manipulate data, files, or other information.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
FOR THE GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing data gathering, monitoring, reviewing, reconciling or reporting financial transactions to ensure accuracy of account balances.
FOR THE GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing automated financial systems to track accounts information for an organization.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
FOR THE GS-09:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree

Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
-OR-
Completion of a LL.B. or J.D., that is related to the duties of this position being filled
-OR-
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
FOR THE GS-07:
Successful completion of 1 full year of graduate level education

Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement

A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
