About the Position: This position is located at US Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Beaufort main building, first floor, in a dedicated office space. Forty hours of work per week. The applicant can expect to manage the supply program in an effective way that meets the mission of the department and the Command.
Duties
Conducts systems analyses of programs and problems associated with supply systems.
Reviews and analyzes information from automated systems to determine overall supply effectiveness.
Maintains automated supply databases and systems.
Complies statistics and prepares reports on program effectiveness, trends analyses and projected workloads.
Conducts corrective actions to eliminate systematic deficiencies.
Recommends modifications and improvements to automated systems.
Prepares reports as needed and provide information in response to inquiries, audits and inspections.
Resolves issues regarding supply operations, planning or program management.
Provides guidance on automated supply operations by conducting functional training.
Provides guidance and training on supply program planning, management, evaluation, funding, and staffing.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. This position requires a National Agency Check w/ Inquiries (NACI) background check.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination. A candidate selected to this position will be required to sign a statement consenting to annual seasonal influenza vaccination.
- Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
- This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons in accordance with Army Regulation 40-562, Chapters 3 and 4.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 2% of the time.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience utilizing an automated supply database or program, (i.e. Defense Medical Logistics Support System (DMLSS); providing guidance on program supply planning; or advising on supply and equipment issues.
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
